Hey all. I played AoC a lot after launch and for years after on the RP-PVP and PVP realms. Had my level 80 Barbarian Cimmerian, but never really started Godslayer and never got to do as many dungeons and raids.
I restarted my character and I’m at 51 now. It seems that if I’m a good 15-20levels higher than a dungeon’s level, it’s not much of an issue to solo so long as I don’t get too swarmed - though Barbs are great at Aoe and taking on a bunch at a time.
Any recommendations on how much of a higher level you should be to solo most dungeons?
For Raids, I cannot wait to hit 80 and get some gear! And it seems they are popping or at least at most times, 1-2 are running or looking for members to join. So, that works for me 
For Minigames, what are the two most popular of the 5 choices. And what is the #1 most popular? I want to make sure I join the que for one every time I log in just in case others want to join and we finally get it to start lol.
For PVE, there is soooo much content to enjoy and I’m sure some of you will see me on Crom slow-rolling and taking it all in and doing every quest possible.
Border Kingdoms is fun, and I want to start building my guild Keep so I can get members and join in some Keep Battles! I love that I can just go to BK and find others to fight.
Duels - is there a way to start a duel with someone outside of PVP areas? If not, I hope they add it as there are amazing PVE areas that would be awesome for a duel tournament.
RP - yes, I’ll throw out some emotes and one-liners when doing quests and runs, the Action-RP kinda thing. But if anyone is doing more, look me up.
I just want to say THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH to every single player who has stayed with AoC or at least comes back once in a while. If you all were not here, then I might not have the chance to play this amazing game some more! As a community, it’s up to us to spread the world, keep others engaged and be civil so we can all have more fun. Seriously - thank you for being here.
I’m a pro at Barb so when I hit 80 again I might have a nice guide for those who want to know the ins and outs of the Barbarian way of playing.
Also, try to que up for minigames and whenever you see 1 person qued, make it 2, or 3, or 4. It’s an easy way to meet others looking for PVP that could join in festivals and BK action - so I’m gonna try to do that as much as I can.
AoC will always be one of the favorites and I will always be immersed and appreciative. I look forward to meeting all of you again and if you ever want to chat or hang, just look for me on Crom (for now lol).
Let’s keep things going strong and maybe one day we will get Funcom to support the game and give AoC the marketing it deserves. Just like Warhammer, AoC has amazing PVP, but the PVE is second to none! So promote both sides! Let’s rock it!
