Hello Exiles !

People are really mean in the game. We’re here to have fun. I never meant to hurt for anything or anyone. I want to share my point of view because I find the behavior of some players in the official 1000 server unacceptable. Especially since the second reason for my ban (one month) is this:
Reason: Harassment or bullying of other players through the chat channel.

The reason for my first ban was for the reason: “abuse of the build system to prevent access to some of the game content”
When I came back into the game after my first ban I rebuilt my base half the size of the first one.
Going back to the second ban, I believe I know who messaged Funcom. But I’m not going to make a fuss, because as I wrote above, we’re in the game for fun.
But it’s really sad that some people like to hurt. There is a lack of dialogue. If this or these people are reading this message, thank you for the next time to think carefully before doing this things.
As I am in a clan at the official server 1000, I hope to be able to recover my material. Because so much energy used to have them.
Thank you all and feel free to reply to this message, which I find important.

Frode

Sounds like your idea of fun is not in line with what Funcom prefer on their own servers :man_shrugging:

Don’t harass or bully other players through chat, simple enough, no?

I REPEAT… don’t harass or bully other players… that includes threatening on the forums… :man_shrugging:

Bottom line, ban discussion has no place on the forums as they’re just one-sided anecdotal stories where the person being banned obviously “never did anything wrong”… and people reading it here have no way of verifying things either way… so it’s completely pointless bringing us into some random drama

That’s why you are supposed to make a ticket at Zendesk instead if you want to dispute your bans (though temporary suspensions are not subject to appeal)

I understand you.
Let me tell you my experience:

I got recently banned from the server for “abusing the claiming system”.
(suspension for 14 days).

I was in a dungeon and as I got back, my base on N6 (northern west part of the palace of the witch queen, in the ruins where you can build) was gone.
Then I met the guy ingame who reported me.

He explained to me, why he reported me. He mentioned that I had landclaimed.
It is correct, that I build like 15 vaults outside my base after I got raided bye big clans three times in a row. The Vaults were connected with foundations, so that they don’t decay.
The purpose for me was not landclaim, the purpose was to have a storage to split my items – leaving some vaults empty and some with storage.
It was not my intention to landclaim, it was my intention to survive as a solo player in a world with big clans.
In the “Official Servers - Terms of conduct, guidelines and procedures”
it says:
“Abuse of the claim system where blocks are placed for no other purpose than to prevent other players’ access to resources and building spots.”

But my vaults had actually a purpose, which is to keep my items safe, which is the reason you build vaults in the first place, isn’t it?
In the examples on the forums which show landclaims, there are absolutely massive landclaims with foundations everywhere, which is undoubtedly too much, but my base was small and compact with some vaults outside.

The guy did not talk to me in the first place, instead he decided me to report for a fart in the wind.

I spend lots of time and money on the game. On cosmetics, on add-ons and battle passes. Not only that, but I love the game and I play legitimately.

I support the game besides the fact, that funcom apparently has more interest in earn money than actually fix the game with all the exploits, bugs and cheats going around.

Meanwhile, cheaters are still playing on the server with massive fly bases and stealing other people’s stuff in locked chests and closed bases with some kind of ghost mode and cheats.
And if they get banned, they simply buy a cheap new account.

If funcom bans for some vaults outside the base, funcom should clarify the rules, making them understandable and coherent for everyone.

And if you try to appeal the ban with zendesk, you just get a generic copy and paste answer, that says, that’s impossible to appeal a temporary suspension.
Great. Thanks for that.
