Game Mode: Single Player
Server Type: PvE
Map: Exiled Lands
Server Name: None

Bug Description:
Enemy camps are immediately refreshed when I die exploring them, whatether the time of a return to my body (whether it is 10 seconds or 2 minutes). The other problem is that my followers are “lost” in the enemy camp but in an other layer i guess because i can’t access them. In the same vein, all enemies on the map repop each time i “continue” my party. Is it normal ?
Bug Reproduction:
Kill any enemy on the map. Quit the game, relaunch it and the monster as repop immediately.
Yes - in singleplayer this is normal. Any area that the character is not actively ‘in’ is not loaded until the character arrives. This means that every time we load into an area the game will populate it fresh, that includes when we die (since the game reloads our charactrer back at the bedroll). (Although, it would be an interesting experiment to see if the bedroll itself is within render range of the camp whether that would make a difference (I’ll have to try that at some point)).
This is also why camps repopulate if we kill everyone and then move out of render range and come back. (Whereas on a server, they don’t repopulate until a certain period of time has passed.) This can be a problem if, for example, you find two thralls you want in the same camp and want to drag them both back to a wheel that is out of range - by the time you get one, the other will have disappeared and been replaced by a new spawn. So the only way to achieve it would be to knowck them both out, drag one a little way, go back drag the other a little way and keep alternating over very short distances until you reach the wheel.
If you want to play in ‘singleplayer’ but have the same sort of ‘persistence’ as on a server, you can operate a dedicated server on your local machine. I know the systems exist for this, but it would require someone else to guide you through how - I get a headache everytime I try to figure it out, lol.
