That ability already exists. You must have game prioritized instead of party chat. Players in a party will not be able to talk to you and vice versa. Anyone you roll up on that has a mic active and not in party chat can talk directly to you.
Welcome to the forum m8. I believe you speak about the in game text chat like the one we have in ESO. Yes I would love that, numerous times I died by trying to answer a message to another player. I really wish we had it, it would help a lot.

You mean text chat to another player and not just your clan. Yes that would be nice I wish we could do that too. I have always wondered why we could not do that.
