In the dungeons, the character slides over the surface

I recently replaced a budget laptop with a gaming laptop with the GeForce Game Ready driver installed. Everything is great, except for one bug that suddenly appeared. In dungeons, when a character stops, he continue to slowly slide in the direction of their previous movement, if the ground is flat enough. It looks as if he is on slippery ice. On an artificially constructed flat surface, he can slide endlessly until it hits a wall or reaches the edge of the area. You can stop sliding only by jumping up twice (Space button).

This only happens in dungeons.

The game is single player, there are a lot of mods, just wondering, maybe someone has encountered this?

i had some issues like this one, not exactly the same, i never tought if it was graphic drivers related, my setup is very old. Most of the times it was controller or keyboard related in my case.

I remember some years ago suffering from this and started to wonder what had happened in my setup, I had gotten a new monitor that supported much higher framerates than 60 and therefore had upped the fps cap to 120 I think.
Capping my fps to 60 with Vsync on removed the sliding around in dungeons, especially the Wine cellar was a huge problem, all those problems completely disappeared
Your problem could very well be the same, I don’t know if higher than 60 fps cap works, but in my case 120 fps made my character slide

Thanks for the advice!
It turns out I have the same situation.
I changed the setting to ‘remove fps limitation’ and everything returned to normal.
