Greetings JanEgeland!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
In order to attempt to solve your issue, if your friend has a better performing PC, please try to locate the saved file for your Co-op game - which you can find in your folder here Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved - then share it with your friend.
Once shared, have your friend run it and see if the infinite loading/freeze stops occuring
Hopefully this fixes your issue!
Hello! @HighSaint
Thankyou for your response!
We have given this a try and it does not seem to work. I wouldn’t have thought it was anything to do with PC specs, im well above the specs required to run Conan.
Running on -
Intel(R) Core™ i7-10700 CPU
32GB DDR4 Ram
Nvidia GTX 3060 12GB Vram
1TB SSD NVMe.2 Storage
My friend has essentially the same PC with slightly better GPU running on a 4070 Ti.
We have both tried a fresh install as well and keep running into the same issue, same problem occurring even when trying to host on a fresh world, either hit by the infinite loading loop or on the odd occasion the world will load but will instantly freeze, but doesnt seem to recognize a crash has occurred no crash window or fatal error messages, just needs to be force closed through task manager.
Any further advice on this issue would be massively appreciated
Thank you for your reply JanEgeland!
When attempting to join your Coop game, do you perhaps have your character close to where your friend’s character body is?
If not, please attempt to get close to it while your friend is offline and then ask your friend to log in to see if issue continues to occur.
Let us know the results please!
Thank you for your response
In the save game i’m trying to load into on Coop my friend hasnt been able to join at all so theres no characters in game other than myself and thralls.
In new games we’ve tried on the occasions we’re successful and it lets us load into a game it only lasts the one session before the infinite loading loop occurs again, we’ve only managed this a handful of times though and this with us both trying to host.
The only noticeable thing we can see is when the loading loop or freezing when we successfully load in and the game immediately freezes is the CPU usage has dropped to 0% for Conan, we can still hear the in game music and certain sound effects but everything else is completely locked up.
Thank you for your reply JanEgeland!
