Not really, no. They’ve mostly been scoffing at the very notion that anything labeled “conspiracy theory” could possibly have any degree of truth in it, while throwing that label around like candy in a parade. Because SCIENCE!!!

Interestingly some have acknowledged that previous revelations that were once dismissed as “conspiracy theories” have indeed been proven true. (Pretty much because the evidence eventually became so overwhelming that nobody could even try to deny it any longer.) Unfortunately they never make the connection and instead claim that it was never a conspiracy theory to begin with. Which of course denies the fact that it was and that the label is frequently used to discredit valid evidence of wrongdoing.

But what’s funny is every time I say you shouldn’t be so quick to judge and ridicule, you guys have been furiously attacking the scarecrow way out in the field across the road. A scarecrow you built yourselves by the way. Which is the reason I’m ignoring the rest of your post.

I’m not particularly bitter or offended by that as, like I said earlier, skeptics do that all the time. Don’t like the idea that a “trusted” authority figure might not be so trustworthy after all? Just throw in some space aliens and mind control chips and call the whole idea stupid.
