Don’t worry, you haven’t missed much

There was a wild conspiracy theory about Microsoft wiping people’s “rear” (lol) harddrives, which would make no sense for them to do, so it would sound silly and questionable even if some people had evidence - which they don’t… and even in that case, it would make more sense questioning the evidence given how it’s corporate suicide for Microsoft to even consider this - that was dismissed very fast…

But then the conversation spiraled out of control, because pastor Glurin here ended up in a weird position where he was just trying to play devils advocate for the fun of it and caution people against dismissing conspiracy theories too fast, but didn’t realize that the people he was cautioning weren’t that naive to begin with and pointed out to him the difference between reasonable theories and conspiracy theories…

So basically he was left with a big sour lemon in his hands which he couldn’t cope with so ever since then he’s been slowly dying on that hill out of sheer stubbornness, even though he himself believes the theory in the OP to be utter BS, but is stuck playing devils advocate… cuz… pride, when all he had to say was… “I expressed myself poorly and was merely referring to the more plausible theories people initially didn’t believe, but were proven to be factual later on, rather than fully fledged conspiracy theories” and then we could all go home :joy:

(On the flip side this thread gave me a chance to troll a bit for a change, so at least I was having fun :man_shrugging: couldn’t take it seriously after the first few posts :joy: )
