Is there away around the invalid building placement my base is a 5x5 and my gf and I can only build benches and decorations on the ceiling tiles of our three story base. Any help or glitches would be greatly appreciated.

I think I know what you’re trying to say.
You laid the foundations but when you place the “Craft station” on top of it, it doesn’t allow it by saying this.
This is a bug that happened to me many times. It’s one of the easiest bugs in the game. You overcome it by trying, over and over again. Recently, especially “Large Chest” has increased.
First place it somewhere it allows. Then press “e” on it. Select “move” and fine-tune it. Place it in the best place you can and then try again. Until you say it’s done. Or until you get bored.
This problem has always been overcome. It’s easy to get used to but it makes you very angry. It is boring but it can be solved. “Casting table” is a cause for nervous breakdowns
