Most of these special attacks require a human thought process to use correctly, it gets annoying when a thrall suddenly decides he is going to backflip for the next 6 minutes, or just keeps attempting a kick.
it also skewers weapon balance towards weapons where kicking is either seemingly rarer or non existent, like the swords downward swing.
it also makes the katana useless for thralls as they get perpetually stuck charging.
I wouldn’t ask FC to implement that tho - maybe a modder?. Probably just me but that seems like it would take too much of the risk out and turn the EvE fighting into something too mechanical and too predictable for my liking.
I would ask them as I dont play modded servers, maybe you could have a mod to disable it
could always be a server option if you prefer, it is already too mechanical, a go to weapon is the blade of the adventurer for me simply because it does a downward strike instead of a random kick/block/flip, daggers can be nothing but 20 backflips as the attack cycle is seemingly an RNG, so they flip for no reason possibly in a row, you could keep it enabled in thrall behaviour personally if you like I am asking for the option.
it is annoying for boss fights or players I have such limited choice of weapons due to unpredictable mechanics with bad AI, I should be able to mitigate this, there is a reason thralls don’t dodge roll, attack means attack, not run up to the enemy and back flip six times, I am not trying to dazzle him with an acrobatic show.
Sure, “could”, “wanna”, “hope”… They can barely even fix what needs fix’n. And far far better ideas & descriptions have been put forth over the year or more I’ve been in the forums here and just about zero percent of them have been taken up by them - and I would suggest, seems even really considered seriously.

In pve we will speak again for God thralls, easy game, blah blah blah, and in pvp we will speak again for new meta, thralls with daggers, or hammer.
I don’t speak for katana because except some minutes that I played with the blade of seven wings, I have no other experience. I was always carrying a katana with me just to unblock my self from my thrall. Since this is almost not a problem anymore, I don’t carry katana.
However I would love to have an option to define the moveset of my thralls attack, yes I support it nonetheless!
I think there’s a good possibility you are correct.
On the outer edges of my already dull consciousness I seem to have noticed that a lot of thralls blunder at appropriate times in order to facilitate such a notion. And the lower level slash tier they are the more often as well. Could be my imagination too though.
