I am the author of the Underdark of Acheron mod, and owner of a RP server with about 350 weekly active players, reaching peaks of 90/90 online players daily, consistently in top3 on battlemetrics for the past year.
With the new patch, I am worried that my mods will have to be trashed, and that my server will have to be shut down, and was hoping for perhaps some assistance.
I am first, the mod: by fully removing the night I fear you guys are touching the Persistent Level (UltraDynamicSky), and global lighting or day/night mechanics, possibly irreparably Underdark of Acheron, as well as other mods I made more specifically for my server.
How worried should I be?
Secondarily: the world not having the night anymore for 3 RL months might be just a tiiiiiiiiny bit immersion breaking and a tiiiiiiny bit difficult to explain in Roleplay.
Is it possible to turn off this new dynamic entirely?
Hoping for some help, and totally willing to work on the DevKit side of things,

Please say it isn’t sooooooo. I love this mod. Why does this company have to break everything and ruin everyones fun…I’m starting to regret spending over a 100 plus on this game
They just update they own game, mods are not ‘‘company’’ made…
I am vanilla player more less, and i am happy for some updates, atleast something new to do then just run around map… Also this same u could then asky to any company why they UPDATE they owned items, without asking permissions to someone who is not even near them but making modifications of they items and trys to sell items
Hard to explain but idea is like
One guy writes story , while another creates modificated story of same book and then everyone blame main book author xD because thinks modificated one is original, even original author has nothing to do with modifications
Same u could ask rockstar and every game dev why they updates they game ignoring modders xD

I forgot to mention I’m a roleplayer. Not a vanilla player. So mods are important to people like me.
I do like the idea of the eclipse I won’t lie, BUT I WOULD like the ablity to make it always an eclipse and not just something fixed by a mechanic.
I love the eclipse, BUT I want to control it and keep it permanent to be honest. I would also like to see the stars in the sky during this event.
I’m also a server owner and very concerned about this.
