LBPR should do the trick:
Darg’s Decorations has some wooden planks and other building pieces that don’t have to snap, which is also very useful for closing gaps:

You don’t need mods for it . All you need is to keep trying. But keep in mind that you need to start from point 1 continue to point 2 and finish to point 3 . If you try with this build system to fix points 1 and 3 and then fill the gaps on point 2 probably you’ll end up in these situations all the time.
I do understand that stability in bridges can become a pain, especially without admin mode , but you can achieve your turn with the already existing pieces, keep trying, you’ll find it .
I’m trying to rebuild the base I had on an official server in single-player mode.
I built it over the course of 5 or 6 years of gameplay, but unfortunately I had an accident and couldn’t play anymore, so everything was lost.
You never think about these situations; you’re never really prepared for them. If I’d known, I would have taken some screenshots of my base. 
I have to say, though, that playing as an administrator in single-player is a whole different experience. Maybe it loses some of the excitement, but it’s still enjoyable.

And yes, building in admin mode is a fantastic experience and it allows creativity.
