Is There a Vertical Limit to Activating Teleports?

So I have a tower that I just put up for the purposes of skydiving into water. I put a teleport at the top of it to make it easy to get to without the long climb to the top. However when I try to activate the teleport it says “You are too far away.” I am standing right on the teleport though, and am not overencumbered (which sometimes stops teleport ignitions). This makes me ask. Is there a vertical limit to which teleports can be activated? I seem to recall a friend having activated a teleport at the build limit of the game. However I am not at the build limit and it still doesn’t seem to activate. Is there some way to fix this?

A bug was introduced with an update at the start of October that affects bases at high altitude, ie H-11 on Exiled Lands. Bug consists of inability to place thralls and mounts due to a must be placed on walkable floor error, Sorcery benches and teleportation being out of range etc

I see, so this is a bug and not a permanent feature?

They work at my tower,probably 150 levels tall.

It depends where on the map. I could build a skyscraper in one location and it would work perfectly fine, then build the same skyscraper somewhere else, like H-11, H-12 or above the Frost Temple and it wouldn’t work. It’s the landscape height, not the buildings

Well mine is P7 on the very edge of the map. It is built on a platform over the water, and there is already a teleport at the base of it.

Could any admin respond to this? The tower is currently 285 levels tall and the teleport won’t activate on it.

Well funcom has given “report received” on the bug report but has not commented on the bug in any way (or done anything about it)

This basically completely disabled my main base and so I have not been playing at all for the past two weeks this bug has been ongoing. Id really love for Funcom to fix this.

I live on official pvp server and my base defense relies heavily on deactivating the portal when pvp time starts to detach it from the portal network that can be attacked. Also there is a huge difference in travel time without the portals.
