Is there a way to disable the vignette effect?

^ Questions in title.

It makes…

  • Lit areas darker than they need to be
  • Daytime darker than it needs to be.
  • The jungle darker than it needs to be.
  • Unnamed city darker than it needs to be.
  • etc. etc. yadda yadda

Been with this game since launch and i’m kinda tired of the added darkness in the day and sunglasses at night biz go’n on.

Can you not turn up your Gamma a bit?

I can but it makes the game ugly, I’d like to enjoy the visual clarity without having to change gamma/brightness/contrast, yadda yadda.

I run Gamma 3 nearly constantly and the night eye has no effect for e and torches have little effect. Jungle, Mounds and Unnamed city are constantly either too dark or have no visibility.

The only area that bothers me is the Unnamed City. I get the darkened effect for mood, but its a bit too much for my liking. I’d like to be able to brighten it up a bit, too.
