Is there anybody who do understand purge system well?

Every official server seems to have 24 purges per day.

Devs told us that “every active player will get purged once a day”

So, does 24 ‘purges per day’ setting means there are 24 waves for one purge? or does it means 24 purges will happen in one day?

I wont probably be able to play today, so I am asking :c
