Is there anything in the game to facilitate finding the Lemurian Lorestones? (Journey Step)

Hey exiles!

My friend and I are playing a private co-op game without using guides. We’ve reached the journey step “Discover all the Lemurian Lorestones”, but we have no idea where to start.

As far as we can tell, completing this journey step would involve combing the entire map, with the possibility of missing some of the stones and having to do it all over again. This could go on for days or even weeks.

Therefore we’d like to know if there are any leads, hints, or anything else in the game to facilitate completion of this journey step?

Please note that we are not asking for hints or guides in this thread; we only want to confirm that something exists within the game to facilitate completion of this journey step.

Cheers!

Sorry, I do not know of any in-game leads to these lorestones. Same for the Giant King Lorestones…

Well @Wak4863 this is definitely you and if you don’t have video about it, should start fixing it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. As long as there are pve lovers, YouTubers have a duty. To you my friend @MartinB105, i suggest to join Waks chanel on YouTube the soonest possible, you cannot imagine how much easier the game will be, if you watch his videos. Imagine that i play this game one year and still this guy manages to surprise me.

Please read what I wrote: We’re trying to play through the game WITHOUT USING GUIDES. Using YouTube videos guides to make the game easier defeats the point of what we’re trying to do.

The question is how to complete the journey step using only information available within the game itself.

Still some of the stones are so well hidden that it will take you a month to find them, i suggest you to watch a video :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:, there are far more beautiful things to do in this game than searching for this stones, but still this is my opinion good luck my friend .

I think the Lemurians Stones were added with the expansions so I would look in the Swungle and Highlands maybe the cold north as well … I just play the game not to worried about journey steps

Once you find 1st few, (there mostly in set parts of map, as they relate to certain people(lemurains)

You’ll start to get a bit of hint on what there story is, and get idea of were to look and what areas not to bother looking for them. Few of them are…well out of place. Inless you like climbing and checking ever spot, you may not find a few of them.

Once you get jist of what story is, you’ll have good idea of what biomes to look in.

Hey @stelagel thanks for bringing me in. I don’t have a video guide for this.

To answer the question. There is nothing in game to guide you to the stones, you simply have to come across them. You are not required to back track or do it in any order or amount of time. Once you read one it’s logged and you simply need to find the next until you find them all.

They are all findable. Also…

Spoiler

they are only in some biomes/regions in the map

You have to watch for physical ques, how the lorestones looks like. I’ll give an example. The cue is the writing on the stones themselves, and you might see it from a distance. And the light up in orange when you get close to them.

As other users have already said, you will really have your work cut-out for you without using a guide, as some are in unusual and out of the way plces. But if you would like a hint then here is a minor one. Biome wise, think in terms of where you would commonly find well established human settlement.

Warmaker Klael in the Unnamed City indicates where this may be during a line of dialogue. If you are unsure which one, I refer to this one specifically:

“When the world was shattered, your people came to us as refugees. We were generous, we gave them the wild north. They built a city there amongst the trees…”

Please note- you will NOT find ALL of them there, but a large number of them can be found in these biomes. In his dialogue was of course referring to the Highlands Biome.

Finally, for if you hit the point where you decide that you have had enough of searching, and just want to look them up online. This is the map I used when I found them all.

As of last ps4 patch ya. I havnt had any issues in longest time, its been 2+ years since they fix the bug journal entries for them.

As mention, ya quite a few atop places, you may never climb… and that itself is a hint. XD

Few near a bush, along a wall… that are just… if you happen past and see the glow.

If you can find enough of them, and become stumped… I wouldnt blame anyone for looking up a guide for lemu ones. XD

Thanks for all the replies everyone! As far as I can summarise from the information provided in this thread:

  • There are only vague hints that from the lorestones themselves.
  • The lorestones are all roughly in the same area.
  • Some of the lorestones are well hidden and thus easy to miss.

Currently, we’ve found four of them (possibly more, but we weren’t very attentive until the journey step appeared), so it seems we already know the general area to look in. That said, given that they’re apparently so easy to miss, and we have no idea how many we’re looking for, I think we’ll probably nevertheless make an exception to our usual rules and use a guide for this one.

Thanks again everyone!

Try these videos

He doesnt want a full guide. Hence why we only dropped some hints…

But there is nothing ingame which tells you the exact locations…

No problem @MartinB105, we are happy to help out. Just a couple of things to add quickly.

A wise move. I started out like yourself trying to find them all organically, however the task was just to big and time consuming. It wasnt until I did use a guide that I realused just how many I missed and just how rare they were. Furthermore, this one is nothing compared to its very similar follow up Journey Step, Ch.9, Step 10: Discover all of the Giant-king obelisks. Whereas there are only ~20-30 Lemurian ones, there are well over 80+ Giant-king ones! And these ones arent as localised as the Lemurian ones. Finally, in a similar vein to the two aforementioned Steps, Ch.10, Step 8: Explore the entire Exiled Lands wants you to find every single location on the Map!, which is a massive undertaking even with a guide. So I feel it is good to use guides in this case.
