Issues with official servers or a private gportal one using a 5G connection

Server Name: any (private gportal with Savage Wilds or Official with Exiled Lands and no mods activated

On gportal private server:

  • Navigator
  • UIMod_Hosav
  • Savage Wilds

On official servers: No mods activated


Bug Description:

Connection issue when using a 5G connection (server ping is good, 29-50ms)


Bug Reproduction:

Just trying to connect to any Official server (also with private gportal server)

Hi again,
I’ve found a workaround (not a real fix):
Force the connection in 4G.

On Android use ##4636## and modify the “Phone information/Phone prefered network type”
and remove the NR option (which is the 5G)

That is on my european Pixel6 switch NR/LTE/WCDMA to LTE/WCDMA

Use the same code to revert back to 5G enable (i.e. select back the NR option)
