Add a setting within Progression to adjust/disable the EXP scale for Journey Steps.
They are far too powerful and many occur through the normal course of game play and therefore cannot be avoided.
I enjoy them as a guide and players being rewarded as they learn and progress, but need the gains toned down quite a bit.
