**Game mode:** single player and official servers **Type of issue:** bug **Server type** : pvp **Region:** USA * * * can not connect doors to khitan door frames (only Khitan door frames) * * * Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. Try doing the door, then stairs after. I think stairs can block door attaching. Also, I think the reverse is true for elevators. Elevator first, then door. ---

all khitan doors know matter where they are even if nothing is around it still wont let you place a door ---

I can confirm i cant place the khitan door as well not regarding any stairs near the door frame. Many people reporting on this same bug ---

for now there is a work around first place a sandstone doorframe and put the door you want in it then upgrade sandstone doorframe it with the khitan one ---

Like said, in the other post, i have khitan base, and no issue with khitan doors. About 12 doors so in my single-player base. Must be or stairs, or an other building element blocking them here. ---

Place Khitan Doorframe. 2. Try to place door in said doorframe. 3. Doesn’t work, can place door in any other normal and DLC doorframe. ---

I have a khitan base, with khitan frames and doors. And i don’t have issues with these doors at all. Do you use mods ? ---

**Temporary bypass below:** 1. Create sandstone doorframe 2. Place door 3. Replace sandstone doorframe with the khitan ---
