Cannot connect to a wired LAN server unless using ONLY direct connect.
Router Model DIR-868L
Ports: 7777, 7778, 27015 all open in firewall.
Client PC’s on LAN are all on Wireless, using AMD Ryzen CPU’s, with 16GB RAM.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
- (a) Attempt to connect to the server through Steam Browser OR (b) through in-game server browser
- (a) Allow intro cinema to play or skip OR (b) Wait for the server connection
- (a) Receive “Failed to Connect” message after 1 to 2 seconds OR (b) after 5-10 minutes receive “Could not connect to server. Your connection to the host has been lost” message.
During connection attempts, server log displays “LogNet: NotifyAcceptingConnection” with client PC’s IP address over and over.
Can still connect to the server using Direct Connect settings.
NOTE: External users report NO connectivity issues to the server.
