Language setting for Pict DLC

Hey there,

The language in my Conan settings is set to english, all things (also everything from previous DLC) are english, but everything from the latest Pict DLC is in german. This makes it a bit complicated when looking for items in the admin menu. How do I set the Pict content to english?

Can confirm this on my end.
Steam Client is Set to English aswell as the Game Client through Steam and the Ingame settings.
Pretty much same Base as the original post , everything is set to englisch except the new DLC recipes and their descriptions.

I am not 100% sure. I’m not 100% sure. I believe depending on where the server is the language is more supported.
The official server I now play say if I kill me my self, “You killed by dich selbst” The other official server give me the that information complete in English.
But as mentioned at the beginning, I’m not 100% sure. I can Test it later

I also see the “killed by dich selbst” message. However, all items from the other two DLC are english, just the latest pict DLC is german. It’s annoying if you’re using the filter. Look for “wall” and you only see the old parts, look for “wand” and see only the new. Also I am so used to filter for “foundation” or “wedge”, I don’t even know the german words.

I confirm same behaviour for me. If I select any Language it is everything in the same Language. If I select “english” the Language of the PICT DLC remains the last Language set before english.

Here Pict remains in French (Windows and Steam language) whatever language I select (solo) in the game

I think this has to do with the server location. It seems that the languange setting is more server side then client side.

No, it’s a bug. It happens also in single player and it simply does not change the Language in english after you have set it in a different Language. Seems bugged the Language setting for the DLC. In localized versions works for all languages except fot the native (english) one. I play on an America server with english Language set and the problem is here.

How to reproduce the bug:

  1. On a localized version of Windows (e.g. French or Italian or German Language) install Conan Exiles with Pict DLC
  2. Change game Language to english. Game text will be english with the exception of text from Pict DLC, that will be in the Windows Language.
  3. Change Language in Conan exiles to any other Language (e.g. French, or Italian or German), the game text will be completely in the chosen Language.
  4. Change the Language back to English. Game Language will be english with the exception of Pict DLC again.
