Can’t really say about the bubble thing, as I haven’t put much thought into it, but I do kind of like this idea. Set up lighting rods around your base. Not 100% protection, but what if they attract 50% of the strikes or get demolished after a few strikes or something along those lines.
I’d have to think about it some more before I could really get behind the idea, but it does seem interesting.
This isn’t so much Lightning that follows rules (otherwise it wouldn’t be able to go so far underground) as it is Blightning.
This one is of the belief that bubbles should hedge out sorcery. Break Ice Bridges, Unsummon Bats, DeFeather a Fall.
However, this one would strip them of their arrow protection.
