Hello, fellow barbarians!
There’s been a lot of aggression and hurt feelings in the forum lately. I’d like to appeal to everybody to be nice to each other. Times are difficult for many people due to the economy, politics, families, the holidays, daggers staggering too much or not enough in Conan Exiles PvP and many other issues. Let us try to be a bit understanding.
We all come from very different backgrounds and many don’t use English as a first language. What may be okay-ish in one’s usual surroundings may be seen as unusually aggressive or dismissive in this context. And what may come off as disrespect may have been said without any ill intent. So… let us all be try to be extra nice and try to avoid aggravating people, and don’t take anything as an attack without triple-checking if that was actually the intent.
And if somebody did get angry (with good reason or without), try to be nice to them. Flame wars don’t make things better. If somebody feels insulted, one should acknowledge that feeling. Even if no insult was intended, there may be anger that genuinely feels just.
Everybody who posts or reads in this forum is connected by their interest in a somewhat obscure game, that we all want to have fun with. Let us try to keep the common interest in mind.
