Currently, thralls can be leveled and receive skills for themselves. But I was thinking, what if a maximum leveled thrall provided a bonus to the clan’s base? For example, a maximum leveled ‘entertainer’ may provide a bonus to healing/corruption removal rate or a bonus to healing/corruption removal distance. Or a fighter might provide a defensive bonus to other thralls within X distance (good for base defenses).
The system of bonuses can be worked out later (and tweaked to make sure nothing becomes overpowered - like capping bonuses or making sure bonuses don’t stack or whatever). But the idea is to provide a greater incentive for leveling thralls even if that thrall doesn’t turn out to have the ‘greatest’ stats (ie. a purpose for ‘veterans’ to encourage the ‘recruits’).
