# Light aura around characters & objects

Hello, I am slightly baffled as to what it is that surrounds my character as I sprint through the exiled lands. It’s obviously some form of effect, a light mesh? an additional texture layer? But in any-case, how do I rectify it? It’s most apparent when juxtaposed with water, it resides approximately 6 inches above the body but can vary greatly when viewing it encompassing a rock or boulder along the beach due to proportionate distance or perspective. It’s very similar to ghosting found when receiving poor quality television broadcasts, or when your screen is about to give up & die! Other games do not have this problem as a base comparison, can somebody please help & clear up this anomaly?
