Local Access to Dedicated Server

Hi there, I’ve created a dedicated server for the Wife & I to play over our network (access through our Internet).
At the moment I am able to see the server ‘The Red Seal’ but she doesn’t & I don’t know why.
I was able to connect with the IP address & port but when she tried the server timed her out.

My Question: Is this the best/only way possible?
and also do we have to have the same DLCs in order for her to access.

DLCs have nothing to do with connecting to servers. They just unlock additional feats for the owner. Your issue is likely related to something blocking her access, ports, etc. Check the dedicated server thread pinned in this subforum. There are some FaQs and other tips.
