Logging off in large base "corrupts" save file?

Game mode: [Singleplayer]
Problem: [Bug]
Region: [Local]

On some occasions I have logged on my latest additions to the base are gone.
Just recently I removed some lights, and the last thing I did was store them in a container.
Logging on some time later and I was in a different location, various lights in my bag of plenty. and some changes had been reverted.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Do some work in a fairly large base
  2. Log off
  3. Log on
  4. Tada?

did it save correctly? and how did you exit the game? logged out or just turned off your xbox or quit the game.

the game seems to autosave. if im building and it crashes i lose my progress i made since the last save, it probably will be the same everywhere. maybe your game just didnt log out correctly or something.

was this a one time incident or does this happen structurally?

Well it did save something, so I am guessing the games keeps some saves for cases like this.
It just didn’t save the last things I did. I’d say the last 10 minutes perhaps.

When I quit any game I:

  • Log off/exit game via in-game menu
  • Go to Home on the Xbox
  • Wait a bit
  • Quit the game via the context menu so it actually quits the “application”
  • Then I shut down the Xbox

possibly something went wrong when saving/logging out and the game booted up a previous save. the game saves on regular intervals so it shouldnt be too much of a problem.

This was solved when I discovered Conan was installed to the local drive and not the external SSD.
Loads blazing fast now too.
