Losing my land claim... due to Hurricane Ida

The title says it all. All power/internet infrastructure in my state is down for a month. I have a modest land claim on Isle of Siptah official pve-c server #8060 and there’s absolutely no way I can download the update to refresh it, even with the cobbled setup I threw together. 50 gb update takes 13 hours with a mobile hotspot and the generator powering what’s left of my house won’t even last that long. What is even in an update of that size? Thanks for that.

Now I feel like I’m losing BOTH of my homes and I’m 100% powerless to stop it at no fault of my own. Talk about getting kicked while you’re down.

So sorry to hear. We have been with out power due to hurricanes over the years 4-5 days at a time so we have had a taste of what it is like. Hope you get power as soon as possible.

Why are you aware of a work around for refreshing timers that you elude to, but do not openly share? Have you reported it? If you are exploiting a bug and telling others how to refresh someone elses base then you are clearly breaking the game rules…

Hi,

Firstly I hope all of you guys who are affected, including your families, and friends are safe, and well.

Don’t worry decay timers are still turned off on all Ps4 PvE-C servers.

I have a friend on that server so if you want me to check your base I am more than happy to get them to have a look.
You can DM me the location if you don’t want to make it public.

Man that really stinks. Is there any way to stream games from PS besides PS now? I realize you wouldn’t likely be able to play that way but maybe you could at least refresh.

Otherwise I’m not sure what advice to give,
