I was hopping back on Conan after a few weeks, to continue playing. I saw that there was an enhanced update, so I thought to update my game. I hop on after it updated, and it kept crashing. So I go and update my driver, but ultimatley the game is still super laggy. Finally after im able to get back on the game, I join my PVE server and ultimatley everything I spent months working for is all gone because of the time window in which is given to reset your timers. Is there absolutley anything I can do that would possibly grant everything I lost, back to me?
No , and it is not because of the update you lost everything , you lost everything because you left the game for too long while playing on a server ( I suspect official server ) that has decay timmer enabled.
I don’t want to sound mean , but … what did you expect ? That your build will stay indefinitely while not playing , imagine for a second , that any fundation that was ever layed down on a server never decayed , do you think there would still be a piece of land without one after all those years. So yes official servers has always had decay timmer so that “junk” will disapear if the players/clan stop playing for long enough, leaving a “clean” server for any newcommers.
And no you won’t get your stuff back because to do so , you would need to rollback the server to the time just before you left , destroying hours and hours of gameplay for all the other players of that server that did continue to play on it … won’t happen ever ( for someone/clan that didn’t connect in time )
Exactly this. People tend to stay gone for a long time (surpassing the decay timer). Then when they return. Their stuff is gone and are disgruntled because said stuff is gone because they didn’t return in that (decay time window)… very strange how people think an OFFICIAL (PUBLIC) server should allow dozens and dozens of bases, outposts, or even a single foundation sitting somewhere or even people’s pets/companions sitting everywhere… untouched for weeks or months. To return expecting it to be there. Because they (want) it to be there…
If they didn’t have a decay timer. The servers would be way more unstable than they’re now.
