Yet I showed them how to remedy it in just about 4 hours of research.
(Yes, a proper fix would involve in-game modifications and a release, I agree.)

Did anybody with decision making power make good use of this information? Not really.

Frustration is not a dirty word, but I certainly feel it.

You need to hire people like me who would get things done and never accept mediocrity.

Its a known issue, but not listed due to it being such a nasty tool for those trying to ruin people’s fun.
