Lost access to a number of characters on my main account

Attention @umborls @tamtor and whomever else this might interest …

This morning (Thursday Aug 6 2026 ~10 AM = 07 AM UTC) the character selection list on my main account (the one with Djebet, etc) displayed all 17 characters which I have on it.

Problem: Since approximately noon my time (about 09 AM UTC) I can only see 4 characters unlocked (and 7 locked), i.e. 6 of my main characters (some full T6) ARE TOTALLY MISSING from the selection list.

These 6 are no more visible as either unlocked or locked: Calliande, Caelmark, Coriolus, Darhyana, Djebet, Eryssa

In total, I should have 10 unlocked (as I’ve paid for extra character slots), and the remaining 7 as locked.

At the moment this account is NOT subscribed – and according to my Excel i’ve paid over 1700 euros to Funcom since 2017, across all my accounts – but I would seriously appreciate someone knowledgeable looking at the problem.

From what little I know of data center server side infrastructure, it seems the database server has serious problems, which probably is the cause for the other recent problem reports about item shop misbehavior.

Thank you in advance for any effort someone might be able to put into solving the issues.

Tapio (aka Djebet, etc)

Seems that old age has deteriorated my imagination: per a friend’s tip I tried the ‘Ordering’ function in the game client – and voilà – some of the missing characters appeared.

It seems that the game client properly receives all 17 characters from the backend, but chooses to display only 11 of them. Depending on the chosen ordering I see different 11-character subsets of those 17.

Restarting the game client does not change this behavior, but at least those which I have unlocked seem to be properly playable.

This difference of 6 might be connected to this account being unsubscribed at the moment; yet until noon today I definitely did see 10 as “green” and 7 as “red” in the character list, all the time.

Seeing all 17 listed all the time is the expected and proper behavior, IMO.
