Make me Admin - Offline

[I mainly play Singleplayer and offline, some times, I activate co-op to play with friend. I am now level 54, soon 55, I’ve made elaborate base with various distraction buildings around for purges to attack. I’m having so many issues with crashes, freezing and stuttering even after 1.39 and 1.40. I’ve been told to reset the server in ‘Make me admin’ yet, I have no clue how to do this. I’m scared to do this as it will state to reset server. Does this mean, I will lose everything I’ve built and go from 54 to 1.?]

We’re not quite sure what you mean so bear with us if this isn’t the right answer. You can give yourself admin status by going to settings -> Server Settings -> General -> Make Me Admin. This would not reset your server. However there’s currently a bug with admin settings in general that prevents them from saving correctly, thus resetting themselves to their default values every time the menu is closed. We have a patch fixing this problem coming out soon.
