Mammoths in the north really easy to kill now?

This may or may not be a bug. However - the mammoths in the north are now super easy to kill. It takes about four swipes of a sword to drop them. Compared to about 11-14 swipes required to drop a wolf. This first came about after the big 2.0 update. Before that they were fine.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Fight a mammoth in the north
  2. After about four swings its dead
  3. Fight a wolf in the north
  4. It takes about 11-14 swings to drop it.
  5. Sit back and wonder why
