Haven’t mannequins been in the game already? I think we call them ‘thralls’ – they wear the armor we put on them and then they just stand around doing nothing. :rofl:

I prefer actual manniquins because use thralls for defense.

We may have to politely agree to disagee on this one Bodin. I do not abide the idea of using thralls as Armor Manequins. For one these ‘armor stands’ have a tendency to move around and face the wrong way at best, and get killed by Purges and nearby roaming mobs, in addition to getting stuck in meshes and requiring rescuing at worse. The outcome for the worst is the same; loss of our rare and hard earned armor. Moreover, I also find the concept rather unwholesome on a fundamental level. I mean who among us can honestly say that they would invite their friends over then have them stand around our home wearing our finest clothes

then how about criminals or hobos, which is basically what enslaved Exlies are. Its pretty darn gross. I would much rather have the Armor Mannequinns myself.

But to each man his own point of view. Best of all, the player now has the freedom to choose for themselves which option is better. As I often say: ‘The option which presents more options is usually the better options’.

No disagreement necessary. I meant the statement as a joke. (mostly as an aside to how poor the AI functions in the game and how the thralls really need much better pathing and updating since they tend to stand around and not attack anything
 or worse).

In truth, I agree with you 100%. All good.

We need the ability to give thralls jobs like gate opener or light torches at night or something I probably can’t think of

Yeah except 2 out of the 3 platforms Conan Exiles is on do not have access to mods, nor do official servers. As such, I would estimate around some 80%+ of the playerbase is only about to gain access to them for the first time.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s higher than that. I heard PlayStation alone has the highest number of players. Kinda odd since they stated how “healthy” the Xbox population was a while back and how they’re always catering to PC. I guess things change

I may be wrong but from what I remember during their live stream mannequin’s inability to display custom dyes on armor may be one of the big downsides of Funcom’s implementation.

They would probably fix that later down the road

The devs are trying their best and I appreciate them for that. They can’t fix everything at once. They can only do so much to make us players happy.

Truth be told @jmk1999 I completely agree with you. I initially thought higher myself, but only provided a very conservative estimate, in case it resulted in meltdowns. But as you agree is it higher, I have now revised the number.

It is a beautiful dream Xevyr, but I fear that it will never be more than that. Besides, all things considered I have already got almost everyrhing my heart could desire in the game. I am a happy chap.
