After patch I cannot move, been 2 days all I can do is rubberband.
Greetings @Altreg01 and welcome to the forums!
Can you, please, copy the information on the bug report template to your report?
You can find it here: NEW Bug Report Template
@ZahMaiatt @AndyB they literally stated in the title that the bug report template doesn’t work. They are new to the forums and so are not yet aware that there are workarounds to get a proper bug report despite the template not working as the instructions tell you to use it.
We have reported this to you repeatedly. The bug report template needs to be fixed, or the instructions need to be re-written so that they provide the actual information that new users will need in order to be able to make the bug report template function. It really seems as though you are actively trying to minimise bug reports by deliberately using a broken template.
In the meantime - @Altreg01 Welcome to the forums - in order to use the bug report, you will need to ignore the instructions provided by Funcom (since they cannot be bothered to get it right despite dozens of reports over the past year or more) - and instead follow the correct instructions provided here by one of the forum users. Hopefully that will enable you to get your bug reported the way Funcom wants, so they will no longer have an excuse to ignore it.
I can assure you the template is busted because I’m bad at writing plugins, not deliberately scheming to keep bug reports down. One day I’ll be able to fix it
Sorry, that wasn’t meant to be as accusatory as it may have come across. It’s just a little frustrating because several of us have reported this issue many many times - so seeing the Community Team continue to direct people back in circles to the same template that has already failed them, despite us having told them over and over what the issue is, seems a little redundant.
Rather than trying to fix the plug-in (at least in the short term) - maybe you could re-write the instructions to match the actual behaviour? Or, alternatively, perhaps just link the guide that Pugilist made directly to the template. That should reduce the number of ‘failed’ bug reports -which would in turn mean the community team dont need to so often send people back to it, and those of us that know what’s going on wouldn’t get so frustrated with seeing newcomers being sent round in circles.
You’re frustrated with the situation and lack of updates, I get it. No harm done, no offense taken. Will see what I can do.
Also - side note - it’s great to see you back on the forum a bit more. We know you are often busy, but it is appreciated when you are able to be here
Have you been able to move since you posted this?
