Master Weapon Fitting

I don’t normally ask for help, preferring to figure stuff out myself, or - if pressed - to check the wiki. But I think I might be missing something here…

Where do I craft this wonder of the Hyborian age? Wiki says blacksmith’s bench, but I tried both versions of that, with no luck.

Was it removed from the game, or does it require a Purge thrall, or am I just a dumbass (don’t answer that last one) ?

If memory serves me correctly Mikey, and often at times it does not, we must learn the recipe. Im fairly certain it was added to one of the Tablets in the Warmakers Sanctuary, in the same room as the Warmakers Champion.

Although I do caution, any weapon fitted with one will take a heavy dip in terms of durability, to the point where it is arguably not worth it.

I just tried and put “Aisss” in the improved blacksmith bench.
She is able to craft the master weapon fitting (official Server PVE)

As Croms said, you learn it at the Warmaker endboss. Learn both tables at the exit again…

It was added after the warmaker dungeon… When the patch came out, you only learned the godbreaker armors there.
For the new kits (there are several ones, also for armorers) you need to click on this tables at the exit again.

For the cold-godbreaker you DONT need to click on it again. But the for the new kits, you have to.

I was able to confirm its location.

The good news is that the negative values seem to have been rebalanced. Enjoy.

Thanks guys. That makes sense, I was swamped with work around the time when Warmaker’s dropped, so haven’t paid that much attention to it really. I’ll venture in there sometime this week (maybe), see how it goes.

Dont forget to have an extra spare golden key! Or dont die after the golden door then

Yeah I think I’ll attempt it in Single Player first, with a setup mimicking my “real” one (currently a level 11 thrall is all I’ve had time for) and see if I get curbstomped.

Made it with a Level5 Dacias… I needed quite some healing arrows and helped him

But I only used an 12% AP axe, which was probably not a good idea… Have to give it a try with my Lvl12 Dalinsia and her BoA.

I love my master fittings. As for the durability hit, yes it sucks. Which is why I love my Nemidian Helm.

Tip: Put your Nemidian Helm on a follower and hand them your weapon. They will repair your weapon and the helm takes no damage.

Two words: Arena Champion

Don’t underestimate her. There are several viable strategies, but always keep in mind that she hits like a damn semi.

Pro Tip: Use godbreaker boots, instead of Nemedian helmet  Way more armor and has the same effect (but its not displayed ingame).

Hah! Nice trick you have there. I have not yet found a Nemedian Helmet. Sounds like I may have to devote more time to finding one.

DM me if you want to know where to venture for it. I know you like the hunt. Maybe i can just give clues:)

Oh no I have more than enough to go on (except time) - it simply hadn’t dawned on me initially that it was a dungeon recipe (dunno why - or rather, I do know why: the wiki mentions it being in the game as of “Blood and Sand” which had me thinking it was tied to that DLC somehow).

Yeah, the Wiki article is a little misleading. I assume it refers to the durability loss that was updated when Blood and Sand came out.

That horseperson’s Youtube video was how I discovered this miracle of science, too. It’s a little expensive to craft so I haven’t made many of them, but my favorite thrall is armed with one.

Yeah, because before the 50% it just flat out removed 1500 durability. If your weapon had <1500, it was broken forever…

Because it needs starmetal? At least you can stack starmetal to 200 now… Have so much more free chests now

I only make this modkits… 1 less dmg, but 12% more ap. Its most of the time worth it… And my thralls dont care about durability and I am sitting at >450 legendary weapon kits and >460 armor kits

These are now my go-to for outfitting virtually all thralls save archers. Also, be sure to check out the Bulked Plating over at the regular Armorer’s bench. It yields 10 more AC than the Master Plating (25 vs 15), and thralls won’t care about the weight. On the new Redeemed Legion Armor, you can get a thrall’s AC well above 1100 :sunglasses:

Thanks guys

Everything went quite smoothly, though I did have a Benny Hill moment, running figure-eights around the arena, with the Arena Champion chasing me, and Sanguinaria (my thrall) chasing her in turn.
