I’m looking for ideas to build a medium sized castle in circle shaped foundation and in normal foundation in shape.
Any suggestions?

Try asking Chat GPT. I get a lot of ideas for my builds this way when I start on a new private server. You maybe surprised at just how easy it is to build this way.

Maybe a little to big, but what I used to do is create a random floorplan and build on it:
Around 18 x 28 blocks
Arround 17x15 blocks
Done some smaller ones too, but forgot to upload them.

i remember, the inside of the 1st one gave me anxiety 
Look up the Cinderella Castle (Disney) blueprint layout.
It is what inspired my partner and I to build.
Of particular note, this is no unused space in this castle.
Believe me, building this was a very serious challenge for us.
This IS a castle on a small scale of about 8 acres (roughly .25 the area of one map square); compared to the Alhambra and the Alhambra covers a total of 35 acres or in CE reference, roughly one entire map square.

You could always look up reference photos of a real castle and go from there
