I like building very much but I always stumble across one issue… the door are too small and the Gates are too big… wouldn’t it be nice having a medium sized gate (2x3 including the frame) ???

Yes, yes it would. There’s a huge potential for portals (not the magical kind) here:
Smaller gates are just the tip of the iceberg. Other things I’d love to see: sally-gates, secret doors, sliding panels, portcullis (we have the drawbridge already).

What about force fields once they implement magic? 
@Mikey When we get sorcery, portals (the magical kind) would be just fine for travelling, should get a whole lot easier getting from base to base. 
I would love to have a big 2x2 double door for my builds. The 3x4 gate becomes too big at times, and that along with the 1x1 door makes me build in uneven foundation widths to keep things symmetrical. A 3rd, mid-sized, door style would add immensely to the already excellent building in this game.
