Memory seems to be gone now?

So each time I log in, my inventory is reset to some default arrangement. It has lost the capacity to remember what I did with it last time.

This is frustrating because every time I log in, I have to set the parameters for my inventory, and then pick everything up and replace it just to get going.

You can imagine how annoying this is.

If you can just get the inventory to load in with a memory of what I left it as when logging off? That would be fantastic!

Just select “No Sorting”?
I did, placed items in randomly places in my inventory and logged off, then back in and they was in the same place?
Or am i missing something?

Yep you’re missing something.

That is definitely not happening to me.

It resets every time.

Ah i think you are refering to if you select “No sorting” then arrange it how you want, then select “Heavest first” then go back to “No sorting”, it no longer remembers how you had it arranged.

100% agree, garbage change
What an auful change. What is going on in that developer office? I think they change things to purposly make us hate the game even more

I’m having the exact same thing. If i set it to Not Sorted and arranged my inventory how i like and then log off, when i log back in, my inventory is Sorted by Type. And it reverts to Sorted by Type every time i log in. It is extremely annoying to have to keep reorganising my inventory so that health and food consumables are first, ie. top left, on the grid.

This is the issue. I sort my inventory very specifically, and I like it that way in storage and workstations as well.

Also, it sorts by Type. What does that mean, exactly? Which types are first? In like types, does it revert to alphabetical? I didn’t expect to have to do a few hours of experimentation to figure out how sort works.

This is how it is now.

Same. I have my wardrobes organized so that I have hats in the left-most column, then chestpieces, then leg pieces, then gloves and then shoes in the rightmost column. This way I can easily see how many complete sets I have, and which pieces are missing (because I leave empty slots for the missing pieces).

If I have to, I’m willing to reorganize my wardrobes manually once after this update. Not every time I log in.

For me, “no sorting” would equal to “manual sorting, my way”. Can I have that, please?

When I logged in this morning, it did not reset to Type. Maybe it was a thing that required server resets? In the past, it’s taken a day for new settings to take effect.
