The noise is most likely from your GPU Fans. I would recommend you check and see if they are clean and not obstructed. Also, your GPU drivers is 8 months out of date?
The only moving parts on any PC are the fans and the HDD (hard drive ). So one of those are the cause of the noise. Check all of your fans and clean up your hard drive and update your graphics card driver.
If everything is clean and the computer isn’t randomly shutting down, there’s nothing that can be done. They do make quieter hardware, so that’s something you can look into.
But when you play a game like Conan your fans are going to spool up. That’s what they are supposed to do. It means your equipment is doing work, as its designed to do.
Nope, 16GB is more than enough to run Conan. In fact it looks like Conan is using less than 2GB of it. You’ve got plenty, can even go heavy on mods if you wished.
So the usage is like that because Windows caches frequently used bits so when you load up programs and games that you frequently do, its already ready to go and decreases load times. It will adjust the cache size as needed.
When you’re running Conan you’re only using 77%. Not much different than mine. I only peak my memory usage when running Conan and its devkit at the same time. I have 16GB of RAM too.
As I said the sound issue is probably normal. You’re likely using average components that are cheap, reliable, but noisy. The wonderful thing about computer components is they can run at 100% load 24/7 for 5-10 years. Assuming they are clean, have proper airflow, and all the components are properly seated and connected.
Unless you see crashes alot, or the whole system shutting down. You’re fine.
Your CPU is only being used by 56% and GPU by 45% when Conan is running. Its barely taxing what you have. But even on half loads, those components will heat up (its the law of thermadynamics at play, when you have a literal billion switches turning on and off every second, they produce heat). But it seems the fans are doing their jobs.
As far as it affecting your GF… well that’s on you to find some compromises. We can’t help ya there.
