Meteorites landing on same spot again and again

I would have thought Meteorites should land andomly.
Was cooking so I went afk after a find of a batch (safe afk of course), come back, and a new batch smokes near the same spot.
Looted, ate, drank, went afk, got back - new batch comes fling down on the same spot.

Was south of the great river.

Same for me, there’s a spot where you get the Khitan dance, that 2 separate meteor showers about 15 minutes apart landed.

Of course the second one didn’t really land, just that purple mist.

They did this to save on performance.

And meteors have to land on the same spot, otherwise players can’t witness their landing to make them spawn.

Half of the meteor landing spots are bugged. Imagine how buggy it will be if it were dynamic.
