Totally agree with the sentiment but some obvious issues with logic.

How is this any different than price walled DLC’s?

Name calling will not win over people.

How are they being robbed? An interesting phrase here because this suggests that your prime motivation to have all access to the wares is so that you can wait for the discounts. Which is probably why the DLC model failed as people just waited till the 60% off sales.

If the do so only when there is a discount, then the business exchange fails.

If your reason to play is cosmetics, then the game is dead to you already.

Literally happened at launch of this game and yet a community grew.

Quote please because I heard the BP was exclusive but bazaar items would be rotated.

Reality that this is a business first and margins matter so that all folks that work will have jobs long into the future? What everyone is failing to see is that FC was inches away from bankruptcy before CE and it was CE that saved it. HOWEVER those undisclosed debts are still on the books and needed to be paid off. They can’t do that if their consumer base will only purchase goods at under 50% off.

At the root of this is why does exclusive content that you don’t have make it less fun to play? You can point to FOMO as being evil but the reality is that envy is at the root of the dissatisfaction. If you were simply happy with what you have and can purchase things whenever you can, then there wouldn’t be a problem. The fact that the BP literally gives you your crom coin back and at the current time I did the math and it ended up being about $0.05/item if you maintained the battle pass from AoS chpt1 without purchasing any other goods, that is a great bargain and gets more value on each chapter.

Yes I also want to see it more open to purchase the past content but can’t stand by the root reasoning you are suggesting which is just rooted in envy and bitterness that others got what you didn’t.
