I know it’s a long shot and it should really not be on the priority list but if we could eventually get a mobile app for our phones that are directly connected to our event logs on selected servers, that would be a huge quality of life improvement. Just reading through the event log and a purge alert would be sufficient in my opinion.
I think it would put those that do not have a mobile phone at a disadvantage.
I don’t mean to be condescending or anything but it’s almost 2020, who has a PS4, Xbox or a high end PC and not have a mobile phone? Besides, it would be just notifications, nothing more. For all their troubles, Blizzard did quite a good job with implementing a mobile feature for example. And it was way more than just simple notifications, which I am proposing.
Once notices and events start coming over a service outside the game, players will stop logging into the game except to maintain their claim.
I sincerely doubt people are only logging in to the game to wait for purge or an enemy player to attack. If that is the case, then the game is dead already, which I think is not.
I value the input though, anyone else feels like this?
Did you see the large thread about removing the event log? I dont think you would get all the people that dislike the eventlog for its information to like a mobile app and I personally think that’s too much too. Even though I like the eventlog and I’m totally against removing it but you still need to take risks in a pvp game right?
I can’t see why it would be useful for pve.
With a mobile app you just comfort people in playing a different game or do something else because you can check with 1 click if you are needed in conan or not. It’s like funcom would comfort you in doing something different than playing their game. Is kinda nonsense for me.
I would like the event log tied to my phone when I am online. I generally have to walk part way to the tv set to read it. And I just purchased new glasses last week. Perhaps I should test gamma settings game itself is fine.
