when i attempt to change the mod order through the mods panel in the starting screen, whether adding, removing or just changing the order nothing seems to be saving after the required closing of the game and restarting. i am able to change the modlist.txt file manually but not through the game.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
1.open game
2.go to mods screen
3.change mod list, (add, remove, change mod load order)
4.restart and check mods screen again to notice nothing has changed
I haven’t had the exact same issue, but did find that the list often seemed to fail to re-order when I changed it (it appeared re-ordered, but then wasn’t) - that specific issue was changed by liberal use of the ‘refresh’ button on the mods screen. Basically - if I transfer a couple of new mods into the list, hit ‘refresh’ then reposition them in the list, then hit 'refresh again, it all seems to work. I don’t know if that’ll help with your issue, but maybe?
Not quite the issue I’m seeing. As you said it’ll appear to change but as soon as I close the game and restart it as we are required to do to save the order, It reverts back to the way it was before I closed it. The only way to reorder, add new, or remove mods from the list is to edit the modlist.txt file. I’ve verified my files, reinstalled the game, and even deleted the Conan folder from my steam library completely but no change
