Ok,

New to Conan Exiles, loving the game & wishing I had started here instead of (…) so long ago when i had a fork in the road of game choices.

Playing on a server with friends that has a bunch of mods, they all seem managed well compared to other steam games that I have played that have mods.

Today, there was a mod update, my version is 1.4.0, the steam workshop version is 1.4.0, the version in the game launcher is 1.4.0 under the mods tab. The server version is 1.4.0.

After the reboot on the server we have a mod missmatch, the screen after the game is launched that shows the mods and gives you the options to DL/update and then connect, on the left has the mod version on the workshop 1.4.0 on the right shows 1.3.9 still and is giving a mismatch… said that already.

Everything looks up to date except this one spot in the game loading and server connection screen after the game is launched.

Can anyone explain the mismatch when every other source has the updated version and why or where the breakdown is here? Is there something else I need to do to get this all working server side perhaps?

Me and others have explained this a fair amount of time across the various platforms
I will just link you to the latest reddit comment where I went through it all, so just click here

I don’t know of a “fix”
But this happened to me a while back.

I had to manually unsub from the mod, restart steam then resub to the mod.

Hope this will still work for you.

Based on the description, i would say it is the server that was not updated to the newest version.
