I’m not. You keep replying to me – and some others – as if I were @Jimbo. I’m not. I already made it clear that I’m not against having unnatural hair dyes, I’m only against having permanent unnatural hair color as part of character creation process.
If you want to know what my position is when it comes to lore-breaking stuff, it’s simple: it doesn’t matter if you’re proposing something that cannot be found somewhere in the source material, what makes it lore-breaking is if it contradicts the source material.
Yeah, I wonder why. I’m sure it has nothing to do with lashing out
Alchemy, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to come with that price at all. At least, not the way it’s implemented in the game.
And yeah, “it’s sorcery” or “it’s alchemy” might be a lazy, cop-out solution, but it’s good enough for something as minor as this.
Not really. Go ahead, put some fabric dye in your hair and let me know how that worked out for you
But again, that can be “explained away” with alchemy or even sorcery. As long as purple or green isn’t your character’s “natural” hair color, it’s not really lore-breaking.
