Most crafter thralls disappeared after a bit of gameplay

@Boulderkin @Tolomeo

You both are playing with fire by playing right now.

The game is a buggy mess. I would log on and remove all of your crafter thralls and then wait.

History shows that they are likely to patch these problems. Your time is wasted though.

should be the 0 coordinate then ā€¦ good to know, but mine are gone from the list

Wow, that sucks rhinocerosā€™s horn. So sorry dude/dudette

My tanner run as well off. Luckily i only placed this one to figure out how they behave.
And run a few times into a bug where my stamina doesnā€™t fill up again.

Just had the same problem. Base was located along noob river surrounded by walls and not under attack. Playing in single player.

Three crafter thralls went missing and were flagged as ā€œreturning homeā€. One returned home and the other two did not.

None of the crafter thralls showed up on map.

My suspicion is they are falling through the floor when they spawn in.

same issue. placed a sorcerer earlier this evening. then placed 9 more station thralls to test the waters, mostly extras.

went back later after searching for cages and found the sorcerer is gone. nothing in the event log. no longer in the follower list. just gone.

Im having the same issue
Some are not on the follow list at all(gone). And some are on the follower list after crafters were placed in the world but nowhete to be found. I agree. I spent to much time to lose my rare crafters

Same problem but mine also walk away and sometimes not to a bench but wonder out of my base i lost 2 so far, i hate this update they did to the thralls and i hate that they can go from bench to bench

  • falling through foundations, i can work around that, just build a base flat on the ground.
  • decay timers not updating, i can work around that, stop hunting down other peoples bases to pull down

but thralls disappearing?

game over

its an essential part of the game, wont be playing till this ones fixed.

I had the same problem. Everytime i logged in i had fewer and fewer crafting thralls. FUNCOM has wasted my time.

So far, I replaced one of the Barkeeps that were on three different servers, found Acasel The Accursed, a named Carpenter who is pushing a wheel, and was able to hire Iblis of Zingara in the newly re-established Tavern on Siptah. Acasel and Iblis will be test thralls, to see if they suffer any misfortune, before I pull all the named crafters out of some cupboards. Especially named crafters from T4 Surges.

is the living settlements feature active on siptah?

I would say yes. I got the Barkeep back, and patrons started opening the front door to that fortress and walked on in to the Tavern on the top floor, opening at least one more door along the way.

Not on the follower list? I lost most of the crafters, but they were still in the follower list, all 8 or 9 of then floating way high up in the sky, had to admin-pull them down =[ had I not been an admin able to fly, recovery would have been impossible.

yeah mine is gone too same with Yog Priest.

Yeah after you explaineds that i checked that area in the north and 5 of mine where floating there!

How long does everyone think a fix will take? I barely touched Exiles since the update, and all my crafters across three servers are in cupboards.

The Update was on the paper a sweet idea, the realizing was a dilemma (how unexpected, irony off). The typical barely tested update i had expected. The idea that working thralls fighting and guarding is just stupid and they seem to think the same way about it. They flee or commit suicide. We all ripped our ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  off to get T4 thralls and now we lose them one by one. Thank you Funcom, a great way to keep the interest of the old players alive and to ignite the interest of new players (ok now i turn the irony off).
