My base is refreshing other clan's placeables and vice versa

  1. Almost a year ago, I built my base next to some abandoned fish traps. Back then I didn’t know that I could manually dismantle decayed items. I figured, since they were decayed, that they would eventually disappear. That was back in April. They’re still here, and every time I look at them, they have a decay timer of 168 hours, even though their original owners haven’t logged in ever since they left their base to decay. Even if they had logged in, they wouldn’t have been able to come near those fish traps, as my base is built all around them and the inner courtyard where they are now located is inaccessible from the outside.

  2. Someone built a base next to one of my placeables. He only played for a day, then he never logged in again. His house, however, will not decay, because my placeable is refreshing it. Every time I pass by it, its decay timer refreshes and transfers its timer to that guy’s house.
    Eventually, I dismantled the placeable and the house finally decayed.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Build structure next to foreign placeable
  2. Refresh structure; placeable also refreshes
  3. Refresh placeable; structure also refreshes
  4. One will only decay if the other is manually dismantled by the owner.

Oh, you too? I have a bunch of fish traps next to my base as well, and the original owner stopped playing a month ago. Kind of funny I am refreshing them for her. :grinning:
