My character on one server is continually being hacked, how do I report this?

Not sure if someone hacking an Official Server PvE-C is a bug, but did not see a link for reporting hackers.

So the hack is my character is standing in the game and suddenly all their gear is gone and their companion thrall is dead. Then someone is laughing on the in-game audio. Previously all my gear and 95 companion thralls were deleted. All chests empty of the things I had acquired over 5 -6 years. Irreplacable items that can no longer be found.

It’s happened 5 or 6 times to me and other players on the server. They have reported it, but say you, Funcom, are doing nothing about it. I can’t believe that so I waited for it to be fixed, but it keeps happening over and over for about 2 months.

Well, gentlemen, you are going to have to ban these hackers if you want to continue to have Exiles as a profit making game. Until this is fixed you won’t get one more penny from me. I play on the Official PvE-C servers only at the moment.

It is a hack and you need to report them to get action.

How to properly report:
• Record a video of the hacker cheating with nameplate visible, upload to Youtube or equivalent website
• If a video is not possible, ensure that you write a detailed description of events, avoid conjecture, state FACTS, example: “My loot in locked large chests are missing, there are no logs to show what happened” also;
• Have a screenshot of either the nameplate or playerlist highlighting their name, FuncomID and clan name - the ID is most important
• If you are not sure who did it, do not assume, and contrary to popular opinion a 123#00000 or special character account is not indicative of a cheater
• If there are chats in global of admission then screenshot it or record it
• Head on over to https://funcom.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new, select Report a Player for request type, input all of the info and submit
• You will receive an automated email, this is normal
• If there are additional occurrences, gather the proof and reply to the email and keep updating it - do not make another report for the same problem
• Should you receive an email about “hope the situation has resolved itself”, this is an automated email. If the issue is not resolved, reply to it and state it has not
• Be polite to the Zendesk staff, writing a nasty report or responses in email can make things more difficult than they already are, treat them as if you were the one receiving the report

Encourage all others affected to do the same but don’t announce it while the hacker(s) is online.

I just used the Help link on the game’s main page. It has been happening to many players on the server frequently for the past 2 months or so. I think this was the seventh time for me, but the first time I was actually a witness to it happening. Hacker was invisible as far as I could tell.

Not invisible, just nearby.

If I were in your shoes I’d get what I can as evidence to report and take a break from that server for awhile.

Because it is only hacks. Players are being bombarded with poor hacks (but pssst very helpful). Fix the code, then the monetization of CE might work. I cannot unanimously object to such possibility working.

I read many grievances that came my way. These I call crows, as they tend to scare people one way or another… changing subject without words.

That is just a tip. The amount of work I have seen involved to get rid of “hackers” is just not worth it. It sucks the fun out of you. Note that winehq supports wine hacks. I digress while non-malicious words are not written.
