I play with friends on PvE-Conflict server, never had any issues, logged off last night as we normally do, in our base, as did a friend/ clan member.
Both of us logged back on today and inventory has basically been wiped, checked the server log, and it shows that a player “looted” “xyc” items directly from us (unconscious bodies, didn’t die like some people will say and event log proves no deaths happened), but doesn’t show all the items being looted (the items on my quick access wheel, all gone but not shown as looted in the event log).
A.) can someone explain how this is possible?
B.) how do I go about reporting this person and getting my stuff back if this is an exploit?
As far as I have been told and see, Unconscious bodies CAN NOT be looted. For instance, unconscious person who did it, is still in our base, and we CAN NOT loot their body!
Even on a PvE server if they can lure an animal or other NPC close enough to your unconscious body so that they attack it, they can then loot your corpse.
So apparently, this person hadn’t played in however long, and his base had decayed? So when he logged in he was trapped in our house. How terrible is that for either party…
He loots us freely, or he’s trapped and has to lose his stuff… Great stuff that…
Instead of the game respawning them back in the starting desert…
What? The “c” stands for something. Send him back to the desert…you could could be sporting and leave his skin somewhere he can get to it…give him something to remember you by.
A jail cell around him was made with double door airlock just in case, he logged on, poison arrow soon killed him, looted mine and friends stuff back. Carved him and fed him to the pets.
